Mechanical and electric engineering firm Argus Engineering is proud to celebrate its ten year anniversary this year. Argus was built from the ground up by its three founding partners, Joe Del Biondo, Glen LeComte, and Jon Guisbond. Argus has grown tremendously over the past ten years, and the partners have even bigger plans for the future.

“This anniversary really shows the longevity of the firm, but now that we’ve established ourselves in Central New York the next step is to take on larger projects and expand out of the area,” said Jon Guisbond.

One of the most important factors for Argus’ growth is the transition of all software and hardware to the revolutionary revit software. This software will facilitate fully coordinated design. Where MEP is typically designed in 2D, this software is 3D computerized.

“By becoming a full revit office, we can better serve clients,” Guisbond explained. “This software will allow us to foresee design issues as we design, not in construction. In addition, when we partner with other engineers and architects who also utilize the software, we can deliver a paperless model of building at onset of project.”

 
Argus currently has a large array of clients across the state and work with organizations that represent all their key market segments: healthcare, higher education, K-12 schools, and commercial offices. Some of Argus’ clients include Time Warner, SUNY Upstate, Crouse Hospital, Cortland Regional Medical Center, Syracuse University, Colgate University, and SUNY Cortland.
